This Was A pretty good Week Worked on art fixed lots of bugs and slowly improved lots of things, I've finished designing my first batch of enemy's and I'm happy with how they came out I made each one with an idea in mind of how they will attack or get in the way of the player. My hope is that I will be able to get the enemies to all play off of each other so they make a kind of dynamic platforming challenge for the player. I also put in the sprites from my first test tile sheet and I think that's looking pretty good I think once I add some background layers with some parallax scrolling it should look pretty good.
Next week the plan is go over combat again and make it as fun as possible, art for interactable objects, work on boss monsters, more tile layouts, show items somewhere on screen, maybe make health bar art, make money drops better, and if I get to it maybe make more weapons. I think weapons will be vampire survivors inspired where picking up the same item upgrades it and picking up new items gives you new attacks.
Overall, a good week still chugging along and feeling pretty optimistic about this project I think that pretty soon ill have to make myself a bunch of debugging stuff and try to get the difficulty curve and power scaling going so hopefully we all have a good week ,

-fixed level end placement issues
-fixed interactable objects from spawning in walls and on top of level border
-spaced out how far interactable objects spawn
-stopped damage function from teleporting player
-fixed issue with heath regeneration

-all corners now working
-enemys that spawn out of bounds now get dropped in the top left corner of the level for now
-fixed top and bottom sprites by just checking y position

-camera seems to be ironed out very simple but testing stuff was getting annoying with how buggy it was
-got rid of camera jitteriness
-gave camera its own snap to player function
-understand tilemap issue now I was forgetting that if I increment at the top and bottom it just loops, moving on for now

-tiles around the top and bottom edge not working for some reason
-10 tile sprites now working good for now

-got normal floor tile assigned if theres no tile above
-figuring out how to give each tile the right sprite
-test tile sprites rendering

-made a strange warning go away dont know how
-looks like x value placement also working
-y value placement working on tilemap

-trying to rework tilemap my brain isnt working this morning
