Chamoisee-Canvasback(V-0.0.03)Sound


A busy week unfortunately I was very strapped for time so less progress was made than desired but everything is coming together in my mind and I have a feeling the next two weeks will be good.

I have to keep this short because one of my family members bought a house and they want me to check it out.

hopefully you all had a good week and hopefully you have another good one next week, No Giving Up !

project still has no art as planed (no art till its fun) so ill add my art practice :3

Change Log-

Dev note- my cousin gave me an idea for the setting that I think im going to go with will start working on lore now

-three basic sound effects are working money collection, damage, and player death

-adding in sounds right now

-

-changing how player accelerates 

-I think i fixed camera wobble by adding a little dead zone around the player

-physics may be working perfectly can't find bugs the issue was my xremainder value was stacking while colliding with the platform than all being added to the players x position once the player could move right

-

-text might have already helped find platform bug that has been lingering 

-small medium and large font set up incase scaling font has some issue

-fps counter working

-got text showing up on the screen already have a plan to make it better than last time also will be useful for debugging 

-

-still a bug with player movement 

-ok added a slight amount of variation just enough so I don't forget about this later 

-still trying to add some randomness to the level

-

-starting to play with making the level layout procedurally generated

-made it so I can turn on and off my debugging visuals while game is running

-had with and height reversed on camera movement

-

-made the window 16/9 aspect ratio and made relevant changes (looks nice)

-split my left right movement flag in two may have fixed crash and it feels way better too

-fixed enemy bug

-

-fixed debugging issue 

-found a strange bug running right then left causes enemy collision crash 

-enemies now get knocked back farther and have there movement locked down for a time

-fixed bug with player attack timer 

-shrinking player hitbox when colliding with enemies 

-working on camera it now gets faster as player moves to the edge of the screen

-going through enemy collision code (looks pretty good)
