(V-0.0.32) Particles and PopUps


This weeks progress was pretty good all things considered I improved damage popups and I began building out a much better particle system, both of these should help make the game feel more alive and interactive. I also started adding in a bunch of easing/ shaping functions that I can use in these to systems but will also come in handy for many other things like UI animations.

Next week the plan is to work on the particle system more then after that I will work on damage animations!

I'm keeping this one short I have a stomachache like crazy right now hope we all have a good week ahead...

To Do

-add text for all interactable objects

-player cant fit through 1 gap

-chest have a bug

-make weapons more understandable

-Get rid of magic numbers

-fix automatic text and UI maker to not go out of array

-combine enemy projectile movement with player collision to avoid going through array twice

-combine particle update and timer

Game feel

-enemys need to leave behind bodys blood

-more hit particles

-squash and stretch on movements

-sound effects must be improved

-add slight variation to player attacks
