Ferulorum(V-0.1.08) Sound






Added the steam page to the itch page no idea where it will show up may keep adding the link hear depending on where it shows up.
This week instead of a meme I've added a nice quote about dreams, I always see devs online talking about their dream games I don't know if I have a dream game I think I have around 200 game ideas written down I feel like my dream is just to be great at something and win (I've only ever won participation trophy's).
So this week I spent lots of time making sound effects like I planned on, sound effects are an interesting challenge because no one notices them but they can completely change the feeling of a game. To be honest I think I might have a latent talent for being bad at making them lmao so based on the feedback I get I might just replace them with for free sounds online, like what does a knight protecting his friend sound like? - they are fun to make though. I was also planning on working on the end game but never got to it as playtesting is still taking a long time and there's so many bugs its like I'm worm charming as I move around the code.
For the week coming up the end game, sound effects and the save system will be my main targets there is also a game jam coming up for the developer community a follow that is always fun to do.
I've also made a decision for my next game as I think about the lessons that I have learned with Ferulorum and that is I'm going to make one level, one player character, one enemy, and no graphics until it's fun and if it's not I'll change whatever I need to for fun to be achieved.

-ok item bug possibly fixed again I was loading saved item data but not deleting it so I had ghost items in heroes inventory

-no forest enemy gets level boost to deterrence stat
-final boss form weak to magical damage 40 health, 5 damage,very fast,
-last final dungeon gets all the magical weakness enemies
-second form of final boss has 100 heath and 5 damage raised dodge and hit chance
-second final dungeon gets all high health enemies
-first form of final boss has 20 deterrence and health all other stats low
-the first final boss dungeon now gets all high protection enemies

-there hasn't been more than 30 minutes of quite today
-ive noticed a bug where a random stat goes down when giving a hero an item,seems like i'm adding and removing items independently of the selected hero
