Ferulorum(V-0.1.09) Intro wow!

I went to a game dinner this week it hamstrung progress for two days but I found out alligator taste good!
This week I believe I finished the sound effects and I also made an intro that just needs a few more adjustments before being finished, as usual I also spent a bunch of time working on fixing bugs and trying to balance the game. I fell a little short of my goals in terms of working on the save system mostly because I know its going to be painful to do - but I know what I have to do so finishing it should only take one day if I put my nose to the grindstone.
For the week ahead I'm planning on fleshing out the leveling system, the game over screen and end credits, the save system, fixing bugs and balance.
Things truly are wrapping up if things feel good I might try to put a demo up on steam and maybe two weeks from now ill release on steam in early access. If been doing kind of short thoughts on the mistakes I've made on this project and one I was thinking about today was about my use of functions. If you are not a programmer a function is just a neat little package that lets you reuse code without having to type it out again, so because of the way a structured the project I avoided using large amount of functions out of fear that it would lead to a confusing mess but I was looking at some of my code today and I was just hit the realization that I'm an idiot. I definitely should have used a lot more of them especially now that I'm better at c++ and just moving around code in general.
Thats it for this one it wasn't a bad week considering how many distractions there were so hopefully you all had a good week, and hopefully next week is even better.
