This week was a very important one while the changelog is much shorter than most of the ones from the past few months starting the save system is necessary and useful. It took me a few days to wrap my head around it mostly because I decided to try it out in the main project instead of my learning project and so I ended up confusing myself. But in the end I got it and I should be able to build some pretty complex save systems in the future I also got resolution working which makes it feel a lot more like a real game.
If I go back to the build from just 2 weeks ago ferulorum is basically like a completely new game but there is still a lot to do, this week I have one main goal and that is balancing the levels. I think I'm going to add more enemy's to the dungeon and a boss monster at the end of all level two or more dungeons but at the end of this week I want to be able to play through the game by selecting the correct team composition for the dungeons and fail the dungeons if I bring the wrong team.
My side quest for this week will be adding a bunch of sound effects into the game and slowly building out the save system.
And that's all for this one hopefully you all had a good week and hopefully this week goes well too!
:o
